SEATTLE – (Sept. 11) Seattle University men's golf opens the 2016-17 season Monday and Tursday at the Itani Quality Homes Invitational, hosted by Washington State University at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash.
Play begins Monday morning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Thirty-six holes will played Monday, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.
"I'm excited about our team and the upperclass leadership and experience we bring to the course each week" said fifth-year SU Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "We will work hard, prepare better than we have in the past and stick to the process with hopes it leads us to our best year in sometime."
The Redhawk roster is dominated by five seniors and one junior - Joe Harvie, who earned All-Western Athletic Conference First Team honors last spring.
Fourteen teams will compete in the two-day event including University of British Columbia, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Idaho, Pacific, Sacramento State, San Jose State, SU, South Dakota, Utah, Utah Valley, Texas Rio Grande Valley, Western Washington and the host Cougars.
