“It was a total team effort today in getting two wins,” said head coach Adam Reeb. “Everyone got to compete and contribute today which was nice. Doubleheaders are never easy but we handled it well and executed our game plan today. We’re onto another doubleheader tomorrow, which we’re looking forward to.”
The Redhawks earned straight sets victories in each singles match while also sweeping each match in doubles play on the day.
After today’s doubleheader, the Redhawks continue their packed weekend of competition with another doubleheader on Saturday, facing Washington State (10 a.m.) and Northern Arizona (2 p.m.) in Pullman, Wash.
