“It wasn’t our prettiest game and both times were tired but we were able to grind out a win, which is what we talked about at half time,” said head coach Pete Fewing. “We were able to stay on task and quality was pretty good in the second half. These Ivy League teams are always tough and they’re not going to make it easy on you. I, personally, feel honored we got to play two Ivy League teams this weekend and to win both is exciting.”
David Olsen (Auburn, Wash.) came in off the bench and kicked in the game-winner in the 81st minute off a flick from Sergio Rivas (Albuquerque, N.M.) to give the Redhawks their final 2-1 margin of victory.
