The Redhawks picked up the doubles point, taking an early 1-0 lead, on wins in the No. 3 and No. 2 spots, respectively. SU would follow with three straight singles wins, with Matthew Alderson (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) clinching the win at No. 6 singles.
Seattle U will face the No. 1 seed New Mexico State Aggies on Saturday, Apr. 25 in the WAC semifinals at 1 p.m. CT/11 a.m. PT. The winner of the semifinal matches will advance to Sunday’s championship match.
