Seattle University women’s tennis capped a busy past week of competition with a short trip south to Portland, Ore. where they dropped a 6-1 decision to Cal Poly to close the month of March.

Madison Maloney (Idaho Falls, Idaho) earned a win at No. 4 singles for Seattle U but the Redhawks would drop five of six singles as well as the doubles point.

Last weekend, the Redhawks started Spring Break with a southwestern trip to Las Cruces, N.M. and El Paso, Texas before their single game trip to Portland. Seattle U women’s tennis will close the regular season vs. UMKC (Apr. 4) and Grand Canyon (Apr. 5) in Phoenix, Ariz. next week before the WAC Tournament later in the month of April (Apr. 24-26).
