Junior Rob Seibly (Spokane, Wash.) shot one-under-par 70 in the third round to finish in eighth place Tuesday at the Dash Thomas Memorial, hosted by Boise State at BanBury Golf Course.

Seibly ended the tournament with a final score of four-under-par 209, nine shots behind medalist Jesse Heinly of Concordia (Ore.). Seibly collected 14 birdies over the 54 holes, tied for third among all golfers, and earned the fifth-best score on the par-three holes (+1) as well as the sixth-best score on the par-four holes (-1).

Quin Koplitz (Enumclaw, Wash.) finished a consistent week with a third-round score of one-over-par 72 to land in 22nd place at four-over-par 217. Will Holdridge (Lynden, Wash.) shot 73 (+2) in the final round to end the tournament in a tie for 27th place with a cumulative score of 220 (+7).

Paul Pavlos (Woodinville, Wash.) shot 75 (+4) in the third round to post a cumulative score of 229 (+16) to finish in a tie for 51st place, while Ian Dahl (Longview, Wash.) posted a third-round score of 76 (+5) to end the tournament in 53rd place with a final total of 230 (+17). Both Alec Pakzad (Bellevue, Wash.) and Alex Dow (Sacramento, Calif.) shot 76 (+5) in the final round, with Pakzad finishing in a tie for 40th at 224 (+11) and Dow right behind him at 225 (+12) for a tie for 42nd place.

As a team, Seattle University moved up to seventh place in the final standings after a third-round score of 290 (+6) led to a cumulative total of 874 (+22). San Jose State cruised to the team title with a three-round total of 827 (-25), 14 strokes ahead of second-place Idaho.

Two other members of the Redhawk program competed in the rain-shortened Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational Tuesday at the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash. Jordan Beals (Enumclaw, Wash.) finished tied for 19th place with a 77 (+5), while Justin Haase (Spokane, Wash.) shot 78 (+6) to finish in a tie for 25th place.

The Seattle University men's golf team will head to Nipomo, Calif., next week for the Cal Poly Firestone Grill Invitational Oct. 3-4 at the Monarch Dunes Golf Club.
