2012-13: Competed as individual at Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational (Sept. 17-18), shooting 238 (+25).
2011-12: Competed at the Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational, shooting 233 (+20) and finishing T-51 ... played as an indivudal at the BSU Dash Thomas Memorial, shooting 225 (+12) and finishing T-42.
Jesuit High School: Dow earned two varsity letters in golf for the Marauders. He helped lead his team to a Delta River League Championship in 2011 and Sac Joaquin Section Championships in both 2010 and 2011. He also made a NorCal Championship appearance in 2010. Dow also placed second in the Father Barry Masters. He was given the school's Athletic Director's Award and also was a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
Other: Dow was active on the Future Collegians World Tour, clinching two top-five and four top-ten finishes during the 2010-2011 season. He had three wins and ten top-five finishes on The First Tee of Greater Sacramento Junior Tour, and he participated in the 2011 Optimist International Championships in Florida. While on the FCWT, he fired low final rounds of 68 and 69 at Arizona St. and Mission Hills, respectively.
Personal: Full name is Alexander Dow. Parents are Karen and Mike Dow, and he has two younger siblings, Abby and Andrew. Dow plans on majoring in business management and would like to go to law school after graduation.
