Seniors Chris Holway (Longview, Wash.) and John Payton (Sammamish, Wash.) led the way for the Redhawks, with Holway posting a 3.77 grade point average in 2010-11 as a liberal studies major and Payton majoring in accounting with a 3.61 GPA for the year. Juniors Ian Dahl (Longview, Wash.) and Paul Pavlos (Woodinville, Wash.) also made the squad, as Dahl earned a 3.67 GPA this past academic year as a history major and Pavlos, a finance major, collecting a 3.87 grade point average in 2010-11.
Sophomore Rob Seibly (Spokane, Wash.) rounds out Seattle U's representation on the All-Academic Team, posting a 3.43 grade point average during the year as a finance major. To be listed on the America Sky Men's Golf All-Academic Team, a player needed to post at least a 3.2 grade point average during the academic year and play in at least one tournament.
The Seattle University men's golf team will compete in the America Sky Men's Golf Conference in 2011-12 before joining the rest of the athletic department's move to the Western Athletic Conference July 1, 2012.
