Seattle U's lone point came at the number one singles position, as David Kovas (South Bend, Ind.) was able to earn the victory over Maxime Olivan by pulling out the super-tiebreaker after the two players split the first two sets (7-5, 4-6, 10-6). Andrew Anderson (Tacoma, Wash.) went to a tiebreaker in the second set before losing to Lucas Tirelli in the number two singles position, while Jordan Prince (Hansville, Wash.) stayed right with Gavin Leon in the number five singles spot.
Seattle University (2-9) heads to Portland, Ore., next weekend for neutral site matches against Texas-San Antonio (March 11) and Montana (March 12). The Redhawks will host Eastern Washington next Sunday, March 13, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Boeing Tennis Club.
