2011-12: 4-6 in singles play ... beat Portland State's Zach Lubek 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 Feb. 17 ... took down College of Idaho's Mark Malmstrom 6-3, 6-2 Feb. 3 ... 4-4 in doubles play ... with Shkrebtan, took down Western New Mexico's Covizzi/Fuentes team 8-4 March 24 ... defeated Idaho State's Norman/Coello 8-4 March 23 while teaming with Shkrebtan ... beat Eastern Washington's Cuic and Koetje 8-6 with the help of Shkrebtan.
Fall Season: Competed in the PNW Intercollegiate Tournament Nov. 4-6 at Oregon...Fell to Clint Vidano of Idaho 6-3, 6-4.
2010-11: Had an 0-2 singles and 2-6 doubles record for the season.
2009-10: Began 09-10 season, Singles 10-5, doubles 4-10.
High School: Played for Nordhoff High School and Seikei High School in Tokyo, Japan. In 2005 Kanehira's team won the All Japanese Tournament. Was also named to the USTA So Cal Top 50 and Top 30.
