This Week For the Redhawks: The Seattle University women's basketball team will host a pair of contests before hitting the road for a four-game road swing. On Monday, Dec. 14, SU will host Saint Mary's College (Calif.) in a 7 p.m. game. The following day, the Redhawks will square off with Evergreen State. Tip time is slated for 4:30 p.m. Both games will be played in the Connolly Center on the SeattleU campus.
Last Time Out: After two straight wins at home, the Redhawks were unable to outlast cross-town rival the University of Washington on Dec. 9. Fellow senior Cassidy Murillo played all but one minute on the floor. She scored a season-high 16 points and made seven assists.
SU's largest lead was by three early in the second half, in a game saw the lead change 10 times and the score tied seven times. In the final half, the Redhawks turned over the ball due to miscommunication and UW took advantage of SeattleU's brief moment of disarray to go on and create a small point cushion that they were able to protect until the end of the game.

SeattleU will head to Oregon State to take on the Beavers on Friday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. They will then travel to Boise, Idaho to play the Broncos of Boise State on Monday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m. Both game times are Pacific.

Getting Back on Track: After suffering back-to-back heart breaking losses, SeattleU looks to get back on track and into the win column this week. They hope to close out their three-game home stand by putting together consecutive victories.
