Chelsie Morrison Season 2007-08

2007-08: Chelse was named honorable mention All-GNAC and was awarded GNAC player of the week twice last season.  In her first season with the Redhawks, Morrison led the team in scoring (11.6 ppg), blocks (21), and also set a new school record for 3-point field goal percentage (48.1, 50-104). She was also one of three players that played in all 27 games and started in 24 of those contests. She scored a season-high 35 points on February 16 at Montana St. Billings in an overtime thriller where she also added two steals, a block, and an assist. 

Yakima Valley Community College: Chelsie was team MVP, Yakima Valley CC player of year, and first team all-league during her sophomore season. She was also second team all-league her freshman year. She helped the Yaks acheive a 22-0 home record and a 57-9 overall record while at Yakima Valley CC. She averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists while at Yakima Valley CC.

Central Catholic HS: Chelsie was named second team all-league while helping her team to a second place finish at state her senior year. The Rams went 26-4, while Chelsie averaged 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Chelsie was also named honorable mention all-league her junior year and helped the team to a fourth place finish at state as a sophomore.

Personal: Chelsie is a biology major at Seattle...her parents are Dexter and Mikeel Morrison.
