John Fishbaugher Named First Team All-American

Fishbaugher Becomes First Men’s Soccer All-American Since 2004

After an outstanding season in which John Fishbaugher (Redmond, Wash.) led to a GNAC title and a #2 seed in the Far West Region playoffs, he was named First Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

This season Fishbaugher scored four goals and tallied four assists from his central midfield role. He finishes his career at with 11 goals and 13 assists as a four year starter.

In addition to being named All-America, Fishbaugher was named First Team All-Far West Region. He was joined on this team by Jason Cascio (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Eric Forner (Sacramento, Wash.). Chris Hodges (Redmond, Wash.) was named to the Second Team All-West Region.

Cascio was ’s leading goal scorer this season with 13 goals and finished his career at as the fifth all-time leading goal scorer. Forner started every game in his four year career at and after being a key defender his first three seasons, joined Fishbaugher in the midfield this season to lead the Redhawks to a 15-3-1 record. Hodges was the anchor of the defense for that allowed just 11 goals in 17 games this season.
