2006: Cascio was named GNAC Player of the Year after leading the conference with 16 goals and 33 total points. He finished 21st in Division II in goals per game (0.84) and 33rd nationally in points per game (1.74). Cascio was also named both NSCAA and Daktronics First Team All-Region. He scored twice in Seattle[apos]s 4-1 victory over Cal State Stanislaus. He entered the starting lineup on Sept. 2 and responded by scoring a goal in six straight matches, including the game-winning tally in four straight contests (Sept. 5 - Sept. 17). He put together another four-match scoring streak, capped with two goals at Western Washington and a goal against Seattle Pacific to help the Redhawks win a share of the GNAC title.

2005: Cascio was one of five SU men[apos]s soccer players named to the 2005 GNAC Men[apos]s Soccer Academic Team. Though a defender, Cascio helped the Redhawk offense, offering up an assist in a 3-1 victory over Fresno Pacific Aug. 25 to open SU[apos]s season. Almost a month later, Cascio would knock his first goal of the season Sept. 24 against Western Washington in a 3-0 victory. Cascio also had an assist in a 4-0 shutout in a rematch against Western Washington Oct. 16, then knocked in his second and final goal of the season against Grand Canyon in a 2-1 loss Oct. 21.

2004: Cascio walked directly into the starting lineup from high school and worked within a defense that allowed just 11 goals in 23 matches....as a freshman, Cascio played two of his best matches of the year at the NCAA Division II Final Four...Cascio was consistently used as a marking back against the opposition[apos]s top offensive player to great success...also had three assists on the year, including a game-winning assist in the Redhawks[apos] 2-0 win over Humboldt State (09/30/04)...also had assists in back-to-back matches in 2004.

Hamilton HS: Cascio was a goal scorer in high school...scored 24 goals his senior year to lead his Huskies to a regional title...was named the region player of the year as well as being named to the all-state team...also competed in football and baseball at Hamilton.

Personal: Cascio is an arts and sciences pre-major at Seattle. Born March 5, 1986, his parents are Bob and Lisa Cascio.
