Volleyball Puts Four on Academic All-GNAC Team
Nikole Thompson and Libby Graff Earn honor for Second Consecutive Year
The volleyball team placed four of its players on the Academic All-GNAC team. Nikole Thompson, Libby Graff, Haley Bury, and Jessica Gunderson all received the honor for the Redhawks.
For Thompson and Graff it is the second time they were honored as Academic All-GNAC. Thompson, a senior, is the team leader with 331 total kills and a 3.94 kills per game average. She has achieved a 3.48 GPA while majoring in psychology. Graff, a junior, is second on the team with a 2.79 kills per game average and achieved a 3.56 GPA while majoring in mathematics.
Bury a junior, was third on the team with 2.21 kills per game before going down for the season with a knee injury. She has achieved a 3.24 GPA while majoring in communications. Gunderson, a sophomore, is averaging 1.97 kills per game while achieving a 3.22 GPA while majoring in mechanical engineering.
concludes their volleyball season this weekend when they host Northwest Nazarene and Seattle Pacific, Thursday Nov. 8 and Saturday Nov. 10. Both matches are at the at 7:00 p.m.
