2009: Jessica played in 44 games for the Redhawks, and was sixth in kills with 55 for the season (1.35 per game). She had 4 service aces, 37 digs, and 14 blocks. She had a season-high 3 service aces in an August 29 win against San Jose State. Her best performance came on the last game of the season against Saint Martin, scoring 8 kills, 1 service ace, 11 digs, and 4 blocks on the way to a win on her last game of her senior season.

2008: Jessica competed in 33 sets over 21 matches during the season, finishing with 39 kills. Her best match of the season came at Gonzaga on October 22, earning eight kills in 23 attempts. At Jacksonville on October 17, she collected five kills, a service ace, an assist, and two total blocks. She also earned two block assists against Cal State Bakersfield on October 25.

2007: Gunderson appeared in 15 matches during the season, finishing with 78 kills and 17 total blocks. In back-to-back road matches at Seattle Pacific and Northwest Nazarene, she finished with ten kills in each match, plus collected five digs at NNU. She also earned nine kills and four total blocks against Western Oregon on Sept. 13. She collected nine kills each in back-to-back matches against Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 20 and at Western Washington on Oct. 25.  

2006: Gunderson appeared in seven matches for the Redhawks in 2006, totaling 15 kills during her first season at Seattle University. Gunderson had a season best six kills at Alaska-Anchorage on October 19.

Cedarcrest HS: Gunderson garnered Second Team All-Cascade honors and was named 2005[apos]s best hitter after posting 32 aces, 243 kills (2.64 kills per game), 21 blocks, and 108 digs. The 2005 squad would go on to finish second in the Northwest 3A Districts and eighth place in the state 3A tournament.

Personal: Born February 5, 1988, Gunderson is the daughter of Denny and Karen Gunderson. She is majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics.
