2006: Thompson appeared in 26 matches, starting 24 for the Redhawks in 2006. She earned Second Team All-GNAC, Academic All-GNAC, and ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-District honors for her performance both on the court and in the classroom. Thompson led the Redhawks in total kills for the season with 345 and also kills per game, averaging 3.88. Had a season high 19 kills versus Western State on September 2. Her 273 digs was good for second best season total. Also recorded 31 service aces on the season, the second best Redhawks total.

(09/04/04)...averaged 3.10 kills per game in GNAC matches...set career-high of 21 kills against Alaska-Fairbanks (11/05/04)...career-high 53 attempts came against Saint Martin[apos]s (10/05/04).

Marysville-Pilchuck HS: Thompson was a three-year varsity volleyball player in high school, earning honorable mention all-state honors, as well as first-team all-area and all-conference as a senior in 2003...led her Tomahawks to a second-place finish at the Washington state championships as a senior, and also placed seventh as a junior...was also an accomplished track and field athlete in high school.

Personal: Born June 15, 1986, Thompson[apos]s major is psychology at Seattle. Her parents are Julie and Robert Thompson and Bob Livesay.
