Phil Mann enters his sixth season with Seattle U Baseball (2016-2020, 2022), and his fourth as Director of Baseball Operations.
Mann's main responsibilities are coordinating team logistics including travel, lodging, meals, etc.
He also assists with Seattle U Baseball's yearly fundraiser "Meet the Redhawks," as well as @SeattleUBase Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Before becoming the D.O.B.O., Mann served under head coach Donny Harrel as the program’s Graduate Assistant in 2016 and 2017 while working on his Masters of Sports Business and Leadership from Seattle U. Prior to his time with the Redhawks, Phil also worked with the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and the University of Washington Athletic Department.
Mann has also been the Food and Beverage Operations Assistant with the Everett AquaSox (Mariners High-A) during the summers of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Additionally, Phil has and continues to spend time at the University of Washington Hospital as a Lab Medicine Courier.
Phil was born and raised in Wilmette, Illinois. He is a graduate of New Trier Highschool '06 (Winnetka, IL), TCU '10 (Fort Worth, TX), and Seattle U '18. He is married to wife Genny.
