Olivia Ovenell Season 2016

2019: Played and started in all 22 games...recorded a goal and two assists...contributed an assist against Air Force (9/20) and against UVU (11/10) securing the WAC Championship...tallied a goal against USC (9/13)...started in the game against UW (11/16) in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

2018: Played in a total of 20 games, with 18 starts...contributed to the win against UMKC (Nov. 4) securing the WAC Championship...started in the game against Stanford (Nov. 9) in the first round of the NCAA tournament...academic All-WAC recipient.

2017: Played in 16 matches, making 10 starts on defense...claimed one assist...attempted five shots, with one on goal...started final 10 games of the season, playing a key role in SU's 569:01 scoreless streak down the stretch...posted an assist vs. Santa Clara (Sept. 11).

2016: Appeared in seven games, including one start...started vs. Chicago State (10/22), helping SU win 3-0.

HIGH SCHOOL/SAN DIEGO/PERSONAL: Ovenell started her collegiate career at the University of San Diego after graduating from Seattle Preparatory School in 2015. At Seattle Prep, she was a Second Team All-State honoree, was named Firsst Team All-Metro 3A, and was voted her team’s captain as a senior. She also played club soccer for Crossfire Premier ECNL as well as Eastside FC, where she helped lead the team to back-to-back Far West Region League Northwest Division Championships (2013, 2014) and a Washington State Championship (2012)...majoring in marketing.
