Katelyn Cole

Katleyn Cole will serve as an assistant coach for the women's basketball program entering the 2026-27 season. She will lead the program's recruiting efforts and implementation of offensive concepts.

Cole served under Bonner’s staff at Cal State Fullerton, where she held the dual role of assistant coach and the program’s director of operations. During her tenure with the Titans, Cole helped lead the program to a 18-14 overall record and a 13-7 record in Big West play. The Titan’s produced five recognitions in All-Big West post-season honors under the aid of Cole’s guidance en route to one of their best seasons in nearly three decades.

Prior to her stint in Fullerton, Cole was part of Bonner’s staff at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where she served as an assistant coach following her playing career at CSUDH under Bonner’s system. In three seasons as a coach at Dominguez Hills, Cole helped lead the Toros to two CCAA regular season championships in 2023 and 2025, along with one CCAA tournament championship in 2025. The Toros finished as the NCAA DII runner ups in the 2025 season.

Cole played at Dominguez Hills under Bonner for three seasons, before turning to coaching heading into the 2020-21 season. As a player, Cole appeared in 62 games, scoring 110 points while tallying 126 rebounds, 61 assists and 42 steals. During her athletic career, the Toros returned to the CCAA tournament, appearing in back-to-back seasons. As a coach, Cole helped guide the program to 58 wins, including 43 in conference play.

Cole graduated from CSUDH with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She also completed her master’s degree in Education during her time on the CSUDH coaching staff.
