Olivia Crawford will have two years of eligibility remaining after transferring from the University of Hawai’i. She will be able to play during the 2018-19 campaign.
Crawford, a native of Lakewood, Wash., started all 30 games at Hawai’i in the 2016-17 season, helping the Rainbow Wahine win the Big West Championship. At Lakes High, she was second team all-state and all-area student-athlete of the year in 2015. Crawford averaged 22 points per game as a senior, helping her team advance to regionals.
“Olivia was a mid-winter transfer in 2017-18,” said Barcomb. “She had an immediate impact upon our program with her positive attitude, skillset and work ethic. She has been a welcomed addition to our program and will prove valuable, bringing experience and depth to the point guard and two-guard position. Her ability to get to the rim and score, along with her court vision, is a great combination for our offense. Olivia made significant progress over the spring and has provided our young program with leadership and enthusiasm. We are excited to see her in a Seattle uniform.”
