Due to NCAA transfer rules, Nichole will be required to redshirt one full year after transferring to Seattle U ... she will be eligibile to officially play in games beginning in the winter of 2012.


AT PORTLAND STATE 2009-10:  Spend freshman season (2009-10) and first half of sophomore season (2010) at Portland State University … saw action in 33 total games, tallying 37 rebounds, 29 points, 23 assists, 11 steals and a block.

 

AUBURN RIVERSIDE HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2009 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School … a four-year starter and a four-time team captain … helped lead team to back-to-back state championships in 2007 and 2008 at point guard … led the 2007 state tournament in assists per game (3.75) ... tied a state tournament single-game record with 11 assists ... also set a state tournament all-games record with 25 assists ... team ended fourth in the state her senior season … ranked as the 31st-best point guard in the nation by ESPN.com ... was a ESPN Hoop Gurlz columnist over the final two years of her high school career ... as a senior she was a McDonald's All-America nominee and a first-time All-South Puget Sound League (SPSL) selection ... a two-time first team All-SPSL North honoree ... earned honorable mention SPSL North honors in 2006 ... twice was named to the End of the Trail All-Tournament team hosted by Oregon City, and was the tournament MVP in 2006.

 

PERSONAL:  Full name is Nichole Renee Jackson, born in Tacoma, Wash. on Dec. 14, 1990 … daughter of Judy and Ken Jackson … has two brothers, Keenen and Michael … named to the Big Sky Conference Winter All-Academic team ... made the Dean’s List at Portland State … currently pursuing a degree in communication and hopes to obtain a career in broadcasting.
