SOPHOMORE 2007-08: During her sophomore season, Ashley appeared in 14 games for the Redhawks. She shot 11-33 (33.3 percent) from the field and contributed 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 5.5 minutes per game. Ashley scored a season-high 10 points on February 28 against Western Oregon going 2-4 from the 3-point line and a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line.
FRESHMAN 2006-07: Brown played in 25 games as a freshman for Seattle. She contributed 3.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per game. Brown scored in double figures with 12 points versus Western Oregon on January 4 and ten points versus Northwest Nazarene on January 20. Her season high rebounding effort came on February 8 versus Alaska Fairbanks with five. Brown shot 14-39 (35.9 percent) from 3-point range for the season.
High School: Ashley averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and shot 85 percent from the free throw line and was the fourth leading scorer in the KingCo 4A league in 2005-06. She was nominated to the McDonald[apos]s All-American high school team and played for the West team in the Queen of the Hardwoods game. Ashley was a KingCo 4A all-league first team member, honorable mention on Seattle P-I All-Area team and for the second consecutive year was named by Street & Smith Magazine to the Best of the West honorable mention team. In 2005, she was named to the KingCo 4A first team after averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds and shooting 85 percent from the free throw line. As a junior, Ashley was MVP of the Holiday Hoops Classic in Yakima. In 2004, she was named to the KingCo 4A second-team after averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Personal: Ashley is the daughter of Lisa and Eugene Brown. Her father Eugene was a student-athlete at the University of Oregon. She is in the pre-major stage of her studies at Seattle University.
