Margot Richards

Margot Richards enters her second season at  as an assistant coach after two years as an assistant at in . While at Bloomsburg she was solely responsible for post player development as well as working in recruiting and helping students with academic matters.

Before her time at Bloomsburg, Richards spent three years as assistant coach at her alma mater Cal State Stanislaus. Richards graduated from Cal State Stanislaus in 2003, where she earned a degree in Physical Education.

In addition to her coaching experience she is a NCAA Women’s graduate in 2005 and a NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy Dimension II graduate in 2006. She has also been pursuing her master’s of education degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

During her playing career, Richards played two years at Cal Poly Pomona where she helped the Broncos to back to back NCAA Division II national titles in 2001 and 2002.

Before playing at Cal Poly Pomona, Richards spent two years at in where she was named the Carolinas-Virginia Conference Freshman Player of the Year in 1999.
