ALL-TIME RECORD

Saturday’s matchup marks the fourth meeting between Seattle U and Saint Mary’s, with the Redhawks holding an unbeaten 3-0-0 record in the all-time series. The teams last met in 2025, when Seattle U earned a 2-0 victory at Championship Field. U’i Kaaihue and Zoe Hopkins each found the back of the net, while Kassidy Kirgan recorded three saves to secure the shutout.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U recorded its seventh shutout of the season Wednesday with a dominant 4-0 victory over Portland. Four different Redhawks found the back of the net, as Katie Piburn, Kailee Wilson, Jaelyn Byeman, and Myah Polzin each scored. Kassidy Kirgan added four saves to earn her sixth win and third clean sheet of the season.

MORE GOALS, MORE WINS
Seattle U is a perfect 10-0-0 this season when scoring two or more goals, outscoring opponents by a combined 35-4 in those contests. Wednesday’s 4-0 victory marked the sixth time the Redhawks have recorded that scoreline this season.

HISTORY CONTINUES
Wednesday’s win over Portland moved the Redhawks to 10-4-4 on the season, marking the program’s fifth consecutive year with at least 10 victories. In her 30-year coaching career, Head Coach Julie Woodward has led Seattle U to 26 seasons with 10 or more wins and has never recorded fewer than seven victories in a single season.

CAREER YEAR FOR WILSON
Senior Kailee Wilson netted her ninth goal of the season against Portland, further extending her single-season career high. The Mililani, Hawai‘i, native leads the Redhawks in both goals and points while ranking third in the WCC in each category.

SCHUSTER IN A LEAGUE OF HER OWN
Kyla Schuster assisted on three of Seattle U’s four goals Wednesday, bringing her season total to 11. Her 11 assists rank second nationally and lead the WCC by five over the next closest players, teammates U’i Kaaihue and Kailee Wilson. Schuster is also just two assists shy of tying Stephanie Verdoia’s 2014 program record for most assists in a single season.

FIRST COLLEGIATE GOAL FOR BYEMAN
Defender Jaelyn Byeman netted the first goal of her collegiate career Wednesday. A steady presence at center back, Byeman has anchored the Redhawks’ defense since her freshman season, when she started all 19 matches.

KAAIHUE HUNTIN TOP 5
U’i Kaaihue is just one goal away from reaching the top five in program history for career goals. With 24 career goals, the senior needs one more to tie Leahi Mathei (2017-21) for fifth place all-time.
