REDHAWK HEADLINES:
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday’s matchup marks the fourth all-time meeting between Seattle U and Saint Mary’s, with the series deadlocked at 1-1-1. The teams last met in 2025 as conference foes, playing to a 1-1 draw in Moraga. River Stewart scored Seattle U’s lone goal.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks picked up a point Wednesday with a thrilling 3-3 draw at Pacific in Stockton. Freshman Leo Flores scored all three of Seattle U’s goals for his first collegiate hat trick. Cesar Batres assisted on two of Flores’ goals, while Alex Notzka also added an assist.
REDHAWKS PICKED 5th IN PRESEASON POLL
Seattle U was picked fifth in the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll, which was based on the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
FLORES WITH THE FINISH
Freshman Leo Flores delivered a breakout performance in Wednesday’s 3-3 thriller at Pacific, recording a hat trick in just his ninth collegiate appearance. Including scoring a brace against UC Davis on Sept. 3, Flores now has five goals on the season, moving into a tie for third in the conference.
NOTZKA IN GOLDEN BOOT RACE
Alex Notzka’s six goals have him sitting second in the WCC, just one behind San Francisco’s David Raphael. Notzka and the Redhawks have four matches before facing Raphael and the Dons on Saturday, Oct. 24.
BIEBER IN GOOD FORM
Levi Bieber has surrendered just one goal across his last three starts, making nine saves over that span. His .722 save percentage and 1.27 goals-against average both rank fourth in the WCC this season.
BALANCED ATTACK
Nine different Redhawks have found the back of the net this season, while 12 players have recorded at least one assist.
