SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's golf team will be concluding their fall season this week, taking on the Route 66 Invitational. The tournament, hosted by University of Tulsa, will take place from October 19-20 at The Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Okla., with a shotgun start at 6:30 a.m. PDT both days.

Competing for the Redhawks will be Blayne Brown, Zoe Rubichon, Melissa Gilloz, Jeanne Padillo and Alayna Rafique.

Brown looks to continue her strong start to the season, having finished in the top 15 the past two tournaments, including a 10th place finish at the Red Bandanna Invitational.

Rubichon also has had a solid fall season, her best finish also coming at the Red Bandanna Invitational, where she finished in third overall. Rubichon has the best stroke average among Redhawks who have competed in all three tournaments thus far, with 74.22.

Gilloz has also competed in all three tournaments this season, with a best finish of 38th place, and a best round of +1 over, 73 at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.

Padillo has finished as high as 27th this season, and has a season-best low round of -2 under, 70, which ties Rubichon and Rafique for the lowest individual round of the season.

Rafique has been an impressive competitor across her first two collegiate starts, having finished 13th at the Red Bandanna Invitational, and was the Redhawks' top finisher at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, where she finished fifth overall. She is also the only Redhawk to finish under par this season, carding -1 under, 215 earlier this month.

This will mark Seattle University's first time competing in an event hosted by Tulsa, as well as competing in the state of Oklahoma as a whole.
