SEATTLE, WA — Seattle U women's soccer used a lethal attack to take down Nevada, 4-0, Thursday night at Championship Field. Four different Redhawks found the back of the net as Seattle U secured its second 4-0 result in the last week.
Sydney Grundland Lanuza scored the only goal of the first half, heading home a free kick from U'i Kaaihue in the 27th minute. It marked the first goal in a Redhawk uniform for Grundland Lanuza.

The second half went 25 minutes without a goal before the Redhawks erupted for three goals in a span of just three minutes. Vivien Villarreal scored her second goal of the season in the 77th minute, Kaaihue headed home her third of 2026 in the 79th, and Evalani Keawekane capped the scoring with her first collegiate goal in the 80th. Kyla Schuster assisted the second and third goals of the match, bringing her season total to four assists.
In goal, Rachael Remnet recorded her second shutout of the season. She was called upon to make just one save on the night, as the Seattle U defense limited the Wolf Pack to six shots.
The victory moves the Redhawks to 2-1-2 on the season and keeps them unbeaten at home in 2026. Seattle U will look to close out its homestand with an unblemished home record when it hosts cross-state rival Gonzaga on Sunday, Aug. 30. Kickoff between the Redhawks and Bulldogs is set for 4 p.m. PT.
