SEATTLE - The rush of postseason honors for the Seattle University men's golf team continues today, as Will Koch was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team, and the trio of Ben Ragland, Kevin Li and Walker Lamb earned honorable mention selection for their achievements in the classroom.
Junior Will Koch has now been named to Seattle U's conference's All-Academic team for the third year of his college career, being named Academic All-Western Athletic Conference in 2023 and 2024 in addition to this WCC award. Koch is pursuing a degree in finance.
This is also senior Ben Ragland's third academic award, also being named Academic All-WCC in 2023 and 2024. He is graduating with a degree in communication and media.
Junior Kevin Li is receiving his second collegiate academic nod, earning Academic All-WAC honors in 2024. Li is majoring in business economics.
This honor marks the first collegiate honor for sophomore Walker Lamb, who is also earning his degree in business economics.
In order to qualify for this honor, student athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore with at least one previous year of at their academic institution, and participate in at least 50% of their institution's competitions.
