SEATTLE - The Seattle University men's golf team is preparing to compete in its final competition of the regular season this week. The Redhawks will be heading down to El Macero, Calif., to compete in the El Macero Classic, hosted at the El Macero Country Club by UC Davis on April 10-12.
Competing for the Redhawks will be Kevin Li, Walker Lamb, Will Koch, Ben Ragland and Conrad Chisman.
Last week at the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational, the Redhawks came in sixth of 14 teams, with Kevin Li making a third-round comeback, including two eagles and two birdies in his final five holes for a final round of -7 under, 65. This career-record round is tied for third-lowest round in Seattle U history, and propelled him to a third-place individual finish. Walker Lamb and Burly Hildreth also finished within the top 20, tying for 13th place, and Will Koch placed 23rd.
The last time Seattle U competed in the El Macero Classic was in 2023, where the team finished 13th of 16 teams and Liam Gill was the Redhawks' top finisher, shooting +1 over, 217 for 31st place.
