DALLAS, Texas - The Seattle University women's golf team competed in the Huntington Bank Collegiate this week. The competition took place April 6-7 at Trinity Forest Golf Club, and was hosted by SMU. Seattle U finished 15th of 17 teams.
For the second time in her career, freshman Zoe Rubichon was the Redhawks' top finisher. She shot +5 over 221 with 10 birdies to finish in 44th place.
Fellow freshman Blayne Brown tied for Seattle U's next-best finish with Tsara Ralamboarison, with both golfers shooting +9 over 225 to finish in a tie for 67th.
Rounding out the field, Jeanne Padillo came in 81st with +17 over 233 and Aaryanna Morris carded +19 over 235 for 83rd place.
The Redhawks will next take action in their final tournament of the regular season, when they travel to Goodyear, Ariz., to compete in the Bobcat Desert Classic, hosted by Montana State from April 13-15.
