BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball took game two of their series with Portland, 6-2, Friday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. Another solid start on the mound and timely hitting led the Redhawks to the series victory over their Northwest rivals.

Tyler Horner and Hayden Carlson combined to go 6-for-8 with four RBI as they powered the offense. Tyler Jackson and Kenneth Rhein also had multi hit days, as both had a pair.

Kale Hammer (2-1) made his third straight quality start on the mound, going 7.0 innings while allowing just two earned and striking out eight. Ryan Stone secured his first save of the season as he tossed two scoreless innings to close out the victory.

The victory moved the Redhawks to 8-18 overall and to an even 4-4 in conference play. Seattle U is now 2-1 in conference series this season, as they took 2-of-3 at Pacific back in March. They will look for their first WCC sweep in game three tomorrow, April 4, with a noon first pitch.
