FAIRFIELD, Calif. - The Seattle University women's golf team competed in their first ever championship as a member of the West Coast Conference this week, with the Redhawks' pair of freshmen along with season-long standout senior Tsara Ralamboarison finishing within the top 30.
Blayne Brown was the top finisher for Seattle U, with her performance of +8 over, 224 with nine birdies being good enough to earn her 16th place, finishing just outside of the top 15. Her first round of +1 over, 73 tied for the best round of the competition for the team.
Tsara Ralamboarison completed her Redhawk career with +10 over, 226 and nine birdies, placing 20th. She also had a round of +1 over, 73 in the first round with five birdies.
Zoe Rubichon was Seattle U' third-best finisher in her first postseason collegiate campaign, placing 28th with +13 over, 229 and seven birdies. She rounds out the trio of Redhawks with a round of +1 over, 73, this one coming on the second day of play.
Senior Aaryanna Morris came in 37th place, with a score of +34 over, 250.
Melissa Gilloz and Jeanne Padillo subbed for each other during play, with Gilloz competing in the first and third round with +7 over, 79 in the first and +5 over, 77 in the third, coming in 39th place. Padillo played the second round, where she shot +16 over, 88.

This concludes the Redhawks' first season of play in the WCC, where they made multiple strong showings as a team, including winning the Bobcat Desert Classic, and taking second place at the Dimante Intercollegiate. Ralamboarison had a historic season in her final year as a Redhawk, with the second-lowest round in program history at the Dimante Intercollegiate with -7 under, 65, being a key contributor to the team's second-lowest round versus par of -10 under, 277. Her whole senior year was full of strong performances, finishing in the top five of individual competitors in four separate tournaments.
