SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's golf team will be heading south this week to take on its final tournament of the regular season – the Bobcat Desert Classic from April 13-15 at the Golf Course of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz. The competition is hosted by Montana State and will have a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. PDT on all three days.

Competing for the Redhawks will be Zoe Rubichon, Blayne Brown, Tsara Ralamboarison, Jeanne Padillo and Aaryanna Morris. Melissa Gilloz will be competing as an individual.

The Redhawks are looking for a bounce-back performance after finishing 15th of 17 teams at the Huntington Bank Collegiate last week, with Zoe Rubichon ending up as Seattle U's top finisher. The freshman finished in 44th place with +5 over, 221 and ten birdies.

Seattle University last competed in the Bobcat Desert Classic in 2024, where the Redhawks found notable success, finishing second of 17 teams and Rivekka Jumagulova taking the individual title with -12 under, 204, which is the second-lowest 54 hole finish in Seattle U history. Current team members Aaryanna Morris and Tsara Ralamboarison both placed within the top thirty individual finishers as well.
