SEATTLE - The Seattle University men's golf team is gearing up to host their penultimate tournament of the season, the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational presented by L.A.B. Golf. The competition will take place from March 30-31 at the historic Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash.
The Redhawks' lineup consists of Walker Lamb, Will Koch, Kevin Li, Jacob Kang and Conrad Chisman. Ben Ragland, Burly Hildreth and Jakob Balkovec will also be competing as individuals.
The Redhawks look to close March out strong, following Li's individual title at the Nick Watney Invitational on March 3, and Seattle U's third place team finish at the Bandon Dunes Championship on March 10, a tournament in which Lamb and Koch tied for fifth place overall.
The Seattle U Redhawk Invitational has been running since 2014, with a competition every year except 2020. The Redhawks' best team results came in 2015 and 2023, when Seattle U finished second. The team's best individual finish came when Nathan Cogswell placed second in 2022. Last year, the Redhawks finished fifth out of 18 teams, and Kevin Li placed fourth with -4 under, 210 and 11 birdies and an eagle.
