OLD HICKORY, Tenn. - The Seattle University women's golf team made a strong debut at The Nashville Invitational this week, placing fourth out of 16 teams with +28 over and three Redhawks finishing in the top 20.
Senior Tsara Ralamboarison had another impressive performance, finishing third and carding +3 over, 219. Her best golf of the tournament came in the second round, when she shot a -2 under, 70 with five birdies. This marks Ralamboarison's fourth competition of the season with a top-five individual finish.
Blayne Brown continued her inaugural collegiate season with her second career top 10 finish, shooting +5 over, 221 with seven birdies to claim ninth place.
Jeanne Padillo had her best performance of the season, eclipsing her previous best finish of 44th by shooting +8 over, 224 to place 19th. She also tied her season-best round of even par, 72 in round three.
Zoe Rubichon finished just within the top 30 with +12 over, 228, and Melissa Gilloz shot +32 over, 248 to place 78th.
Competing as an individual, Aaryanna Morris placed 70th with +25 over, 241.
The Redhawks will next take action April 6-7, when they compete at the Huntington Bank Collegiate hosted by SMU in Dallas, Texas.
