SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's golf team is heading south to begin its spring season, competing at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate from February 9-10 in Tucson, Ariz. The tournament will be hosted by the University of Arizona.

Competing for the Redhawks will be Tsara Ralamboarison, Blayne Brown, Zoe Rubichon, Aaryanna Morris and Melissa Gilloz. Ralamboarison, Brown, Rubichon and Morris have competed in every tournament this season. Ralamboarison, Brown and Rubichon have all had at least one top 10 finish.

The Redhawks look to build off their standout performance at the end of the fall season, when the team claimed second place at the Diamante Intercollegiate. Every scoring golfer finished in the top 15. Ralamboarison finished in fifth place and tied her career-low round, having shot -7 under 65, the second-lowest round in program history.

Ralamboarison looks to continue her strong senior season. In addition to her performance at the Diamante Intercollegiate, she also took second place at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in September, and has moved to first place in program history for scoring average, with 73.33 over 69 rounds.

This will be the Redhawks' first time competing at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate. Last year, Seattle University competed in three tournaments in Arizona, including the Red Rocks Invitational where Ralamboarison finished in second place.
