HOUSTON, TX - Seattle U men's and women's swimming wrapped up day three of the Big West Championships on Friday in Texas. The day was highligted by a podium finish for Danielis Kvederis and three more school records being set.

"We had a terrific day today," Head Coach Joe Dykstra said. "Over 80% lifetime bests, several A finalists, a podium finish by danielis, and three more school records."

Kvederis triple dipped into the achivement pool on day three. In the morning, his finish of 46:41 in the 100 Backstroke broke his own program record set last season. He would then go on to finish 3rd (46.66) in the finals of the same event, securing back-to-back seasons of medaling at the conference championships. He would also join Nathan Headon-Weeks, Keanu Lee, and Jamie Crawford to set a new record in the 400 Medley Relay at 3:13.54.

Amanda Miller would also etch her name atop the Redhawk record book, becoming the first Seattle U women's swimmer to crack sub-55 in the 100 Butterfly with a finish of 54.96.
