- Seattle U enters the week 13-7 overall and 2-5 in West Coast Conference play following a 71-50 loss to No. 9 Gonzaga on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Climate Pledge Arena.
- The meeting with the Zags was the second in a 15-day span.
- Brayden Maldonado had 12 points and Houran Dan went a perfect 4-4 FGs and 2-2 FTs for 10 points, but no other Redhawk scored in double figures as the Zags held them to a season low in points.

ABOUT THE SERIES VS LMU
- This marks 32nd all-time meeting between Seattle U and LMU, though the first since 2011.
- The teams have met three times in Seattle U’s modern DI history, including a Redhawk won in Jan. 1, 2009, and Lion wins on Dec. 30, 2009 and Jan. 31, 2011.
- The series history dates back to 1953, though the bulk of the meetings came during the 1970s when both teams were members of the West Coast Athletic Conference (now WCC).
- Seattle U holds a 23-8 all-time record against LMU, including 16-0 in games played in Seattle.

- Will Heimbrodt has 51 blocks through 20 games, leading the WCC and ranking among the nation’s best in the statistical category.
- With 11 games remaining in the regular season, Heimbrodt’s total is already No. 6 in Seattle U’s single-season record book.
- Currently tied for No. 4 are Kobe Williamson (2023-24) and Eugene McClanahan (1982-83) with 53 blocks.
- Seattle U’s all-time record for blocks in a single season is 79, set by Aaron Menzies during the 2017-18 season.
NUMBERS WATCH
- The 75-64 win over San Diego on Jan. 15 was No. 93 at Seattle U for Head Coach Chris Victor. He is seven wins away from the century mark while leading the Redhawks. Victor is also four wins away from 200 for his career as a head coach, which also includes six seasons at Citrus College in California.
- John Christofilis has poured in 136 threes in two-plus seasons at SU, putting him in striking distance of entering the SU all-time top-list this year. Sitting tied for 10th are Mack Junior (95-99) and Arne Klubberud (95-99), each with 144 career threes.
- Maleek Arington enters Wednesdays match-up with LMU with 891 career points and eyes becoming a third member of the 2025-26 squad to surpass 1,000 career points. He would join Jojo Murphy (1,465 career points) and Brayden Maldonado (1,311 career points).
