Redhawks Wrap Up Trip to BakersfieldRedhawks Wrap Up Trip to Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Seattle U men's and women's swimming concluded their 2-day trip to Southern California on Saturday after battling Cal State Bakersfield and Pacific. The Redhawk men took second and the women took third on Friday, while the women's team won their dual meet with the Roadrunners on Saturday.

"These were tough meets traveling after a heavy block of winter training and racing outdoors with temps in the 40’s and low 50’s," Head Coach Joe Dykstra said. "I’m excited for us to get back indoors next week and then to start sharpening up leading into conference."  "I’m especially proud of the women’s team for defeating CSUB each of the last two days. Several of the women put of lifetime bests and many others right on their best times, which is a testament to the quality of their training, preparation, and attitude." I’m excited for us to get back indoors next week and then to start sharpening up leading into conference.
