SEATTLE – On a night when the Seattle University Redhawks put up the most points of their men’s basketball season, Brock Felder put up the most points of his college career – and he was nearly perfect in doing it.
Felder poured in 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting on Saturday night and logged his first college double-double by grabbing 10 rebounds, John Christofilis tallied 20 points and SU rolled to a 115-60 non-conference victory against Warner Pacific of Portland inside Redhawk Center.
The win was the third straight for Seattle U and lifted its overall record to 8-2, best since the 2022-23 team also started 8-2.
It was the first game of 100-plus points since a 111-44 homecourt victory against Pacific of Oregon last Dec. 14.
The Redhawks had five players in double-digit scoring, with four of those performances coming off the bench. Along with Christofilis’ 20 and Felder’s 19, Jojo Murphy added 15 and Yuto Kawashima had a career-high 12. Starting center Houran Dan chipped in 12.
Felder, a 6-foot-8 junior forward, is in his first year with SU after playing the past two seasons at Southern Utah. Saturday’s scoring output – including four dunks – topped his previous career high of 14 points, which he reached twice in a span of 23 days last season with the Thunderbirds.
Redshirt senior guard Christofilis hit 6-of-11 from the floor, including a pair of threes. He hit 6-of-6 at the free-throw line, converting all of them on a pair of three-shot fouls.
Midway through the first half, the outcome against NAIA member Warner Pacific was no longer in doubt. Seattle U never trailed and the game was tied just once at 2-2. From there, the Redhawks ran off eight straight points for a 10-2 lead. It reached 20 at 33-13 with 10:39 left in the half and was up to 30 at 55-25 with 3:29 to go until the break.

- Felder and Christofilis both reached double-figures scoring for the first time this season, as did redshirt freshman forward Kawashima, whose previous career high was six on Dec. 3 against Puget Sound.
- SU had its third game of 60 percent shooting this year, finishing at exactly that mark on 45-of-75. Earlier, it hit 64.9 percent against Eastern Washington and 62.0 against Idaho State.
- Of the 13 Redhawks who played, 10 shot 50 percent or better.
- All 13 grabbed at least one rebound, and Seattle U had 52 as a team – its second game this season with 50-plus (56 vs. Puget Sound).
- The Redhawks also had nine players dish at least one assist. Of those playmakers, Murphy tied his single-game high with eight, the fifth time in his career he has handed out that many. Altogether, SU had a season-high 28 helpers.
- Braydon Maldonado hit 2-of-2 at the free-throw line, is now up to 17 straight and 38 of 39 for the season (97.4 percent).
- Jevon Blackmore and Terrin Dickey led Warner Pacific with 12 points apiece.
