SEATTLE - Seattle U men's soccer dropped their meeting with No. 21 Oregon State, 3-5, Saturday night at championship Field. Trailing by three early in the second half, the Redhawks mounted a comeback but fell short on the rainy night.
Andre Philibbosian would break up the shutout in the 63rd minute when he headed home a corner kick taken by Nico Wiskel. The Redhawks would score two more goals on the night, with Alex Notzka (81') and Patrick Kearney (90') both scoring their first of the season, but the goals came after OSU scored in the 74th and 82nd.
The Redhawks now drop to 3-6-5- on the season and to 1-3-2 in WCC play. They will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 1, when they host Loyola Marymount. Kickoff for that match is scheduled for 7:00pm PT.
