SPOKANE, Wash. - Riding a five match unbeaten streak, Seattle U women's soccer will hit the road for an in-state battle with Gonzaga on Saturday, Oct. 25. The match is scheduled for a 6:00pm PT kickoff and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

REDHAWK HEADLINES:
ALL-TIME RECORD
Seattle U trails Gonzaga in the all-time series 4-5 and they are currently on a three-match losing streak. Their last meeting came in 2019, a 0-4 loss in Spokane. The Redhawks are 2-3 all-time as the road team in the series.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks fought to a 2-2 draw with their I-5 rivals Portland on Wednesday. The match featured three penalty kicks, with the Pilots being awarded two of them. A 46th minute goal from Caroline Penner was the only one scored in the run of play, and Kailee Wilson’s PK conversion in the 84th salvaged the point.
REDHAWKS HAVE TOP 20 OFFENSE
Seattle U’s explosive attack is currently ranked 20th in the country. They have scored 33 goals this season and are averaging 2.33 goals per game. The Redhawks have not scored less than two goals in a match since August.
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.
KAAIHUE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior midfielder U’i Kaaihue was named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a brace in the match vs San Francisco. Her six goals on the season ranks second on the team and third in the WCC. She is one goal shy of tying a personal career best of seven set in her freshman season.
KIRGAN REACHES 200
After making two saves in the win at San Francisco, junior goalkeeper Kassidy Kirgan reached the 200 save mark for her career. She is just the third keeper in program history to reach that milestone, joining Brianna Smallidge (2012-15) and Madison Goverde (2009-11).
UNSELFISH SQUAD
The Redhawks have six players with four or more assists on the season, far more than any other WCC program. Kyla Schuster and Kailee Wilson lead the way with five each.
PENNER CLOSING IN ON TOP 5
Caroline Penner needs two more goals this season to tie Tafara Pulse (2001-04) and Natasha Howe (2012-17) for 5th all-time in program history for career goals with 31.
