SEATTLE - For the second year in a row, the Seattle University men’s golf team will tee off the season in Pullman, Wash., competing in the Palouse Collegiate Invitational hosted by Washington State University. The tournament will take place on September 9 and 10 at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

This will be the first half of back-to-back Washington tournaments this month, with the Redhawks participating in The Tindall in Sammamish, Wash., on September 22 and 23.

All eight members of the 2025-26 squad will compete in the season-opening event, including five scoring members and three Redhawks playing as individuals.

Seattle U returns seven athletes from last season, including all five scoring members of the 2025 Western Athletic Conference Championship team, which was the Redhawks' second conference championship and second team NCAA Regional appearance. This includes two-time, first team all-conference selection junior Kevin Li, who was the runner-up individual finish in the 2025 WAC Championship, and junior Will Koch, who placed a team-best 21st at the 2025 NCAA Regional.

Also returning are sophomore Walker Lamb, senior Ben Ragland, sophomore Conrad Chisman, senior Jakob Balkovec and redshirt senior Burly Hildreth. New to the team this year is freshman Jacob Kang.

A year ago at the 2024 Palouse Collegiate, Seattle U finished with one of the program's best scores ever, placing fifth with a team score of -22. Chisman and Li were the Redhawks' top finishers, placing tied for 15th. That duo each recorded a -7 over the three-round competition.
