SPOKANE, Wash. - Seattle University women's golf put up a strong performance at the Kalispel Invitational, finishing fourth out of fourteen teams.
The Redhawks finished with a team score of +23 over across three rounds, bolstered by Tsara Ralamboarison's even par 216 (73, 71, 72), good for a fourth-place individual finish in the field of 83 competitors.
Freshman Zoe Rubichon and Blayne Brown also had strong performances in their second-ever collegiate tournament. Rubichon finished with an +8 over 224 (74, 77, 63) and Brown finished at +9 over 225 (74, 76, 75), putting them in 22nd and 25th place, respectively.
Aaryanna Morris finished with a +12 over 228, and Jeanne Padillo shot +17 over 233.
The Redhawks combined for 30 birdies, including five by Rubichon in the first round.
Next, the Redhawks will return to host the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in Tacoma, Wash., from September 29-30.
