Following five seasons on the swim team and three seasons as a volunteer assistant, Jack Neton returns to the Redhawk swimming program as a full-time assistant coach, head coach Joe Dykstra announced.
"I am so thrilled to have Jack move into a full-time role coaching with the team," coach Dykstra said. "As a 5-year swimmer at Seattle U, former team captain, and 3-year volunteer coach, he has demonstrated that his passion for the program, the university, and the city of Seattle is boundless. He has worked countless hours with us over the past three years since completing his degree and is intricately linked to the success and improvement of the program."
Dykstra also announced the return of Andy Lee as a volunteer assistant, along with the return of Redhawk alumni Cole Lanting, Nicholas Imig, and Aubrey Cheng to the staff. Joining them will be Makayla Poloni, a recent graduate from Hawaii who also spent four seasons at Washington State.
The Redhawks will open their season with an alumni meet this Saturday, Sep. 27, in the Redhawk Center. The meet will begin at 10:00am PT.
