SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's golf team will start the 2025-26 season by competing in the Leadership & Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash. The tournament will take place September 15 and 16.
The Redhawks will send six competitors onto the course Monday and Tuesday, including returners Tsara Ralamboarison, Jeanne Padillo, Melissa Gilloz and Aaryanna Morris. Newcomers Blayne Brown and Zoe Rubichon will be making their Redhawk debut in their first collegiate tournament.
In 2024, Seattle U finished the tournament in 12th place, with 2025 graduate Rivekka Jumagulova placing 18th overall and Ralamboarison securing a top-50 finish. In 2023, Ralamboarison made her Seattle U debut with a 15th-place finish.
The Leadership & Golf Invitational was founded in 2022 as the Pacific NW Invitational before changing its name beginning in 2023. UCLA won the team championships in its inaugural year while USC won the team title in 2023 and 2024.
