REDHAWK HEADLINES:

58th SEASON OF REDHAWK SOCCER
Seattle U soccer enters their 58th season in 2025, compiling an all-time record of 530-412-89 (.557). They have won two national titles (1997 NAIA, 2004 DII) and have appeared in the national tournament 13 times.

RELOAD TIME
The Redhawks graduated four of their top five goal scorers from last season and lost 53% of their total goal production in whole. Edgar Leon (6), River Stewart (3), and Andre Philibbosian (2) are the only returning multi-goal scorers from last season’s team.

LEON NAMED PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE
Edgar Leon was named to the Preseason All-WCC Team ahead of the 2025 season, the only Redhawk representative on the team. Leon burst onto the scene last season as a freshman, recording eight goals and assisting on another for 13 points. His performance earned him a spot on the All-WAC Second Team and All-Freshman Team.

4th FOR THE NEWCOMERS
Seattle U came in a tie for 4th place in the Preseason WCC Coaches Poll, level with San Francisco. San Diego, last season’s conference winner, was picked 1st, followed by Oregon State and Portland. The Redhawks also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.

FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 10 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 83-19-14 during their time in the WAC. Their win total and conference championships are both conference records.

BACK-TO-BACK TOURNEYS
Seattle U is coming off back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances for the first time in their Division I history. The last time the Redhawks made two straight national tournaments was 2003-2004, when the Redhawks won the National Title following a first round exit the year before.

HITTING THE ROAD
The Redhawks are 21-18-7 on the road over the past five seasons. They have won five road games each of the last two seasons.

NEW FACES. NEW FOES.
This will be first all-time meeting between the Redhawks and both the Bears and Tar Heels. These will be two of the three first time meetings on the 2025 schedule for Seattle U, with new conference opponent Pacific being the other.
