SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing wrapped up its 2024-25 schedule with season-best performances in all three boats at the Windermere Cup on Lake Washington Saturday.

SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing wrapped up its 2024-25 schedule with season-best performances in all three boats at the Windermere Cup on Lake Washington Saturday.

Racing against Washington and Indiana, the Redhawks' Varsity 8+ trimmed more than five seconds off their time from a week ago at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association championship, finishing in 7:12.061.

In the Collegiate Varsity 4+ race, the Redhawks broke eight minutes for the first time, trimming more than six seconds off last week's WIRA finish with a time of 7:54.507.

In the Collegiate Third Varsity 8+ race, Seattle U finishing in a season-best time of 7:40.819.

"All three boats had their fastest times of the season," said Head Coach Jenny Park. "I am so proud of the work the team put in this year as we transition into the West Coast Conference."

Beginning in 2025-26, Redhawk rowing will have a conference championship for the first time in program history. The WCC championship features nine West Coast members including Creighton, Gonzaga, Oregon State, Portland, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Diego, Santa Clara and Washington State.
