ST GEORGE, UT - Seattle U baseball dropped their series finale with Utah Tech, 3-7, Sunday morning in Utah. The Redhawks fell behind in the 3rd and couldn't battle their way back as they dropped the series.
The offensive highlight of the day was a 2-run home run off the bat of Tervell Johnson in the 6th inning, his second of the season. Michael Tsoukalas, who scored on the Johnson blast, drove in the only other Redhawk run on the day with a single in the 7th.
Kenny Ishikawa (3-6) was credited with the loss on the day after giving up three earned over four innings. Kaden Alberghini and Luke Alwood both made scoreless relief appearances on the day.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 16-29 on the season and to 5-13 in conference play. They will be right back in action this Tuesday, April 6, when they host Washington State at Bannerwood Park.
